Aussie Twin Strike H1

An EA for the 1-hour chart of AUD/USD (AUDUSD) in which two logics with different characters run separately. One places a buy stop and a sell stop around the current price to catch sharp moves. The other spots weak-trend range markets on the 4-hour chart and enters counter-trend when the price returns from outside the Bollinger Bands.

Aussie Twin Strike H1 is an EA for the 1-hour chart of AUD/USD. Two logics (legs) with different entry methods run independently, each under its own magic number.

Catching sharp moves with stop orders

It places a buy stop and a sell stop at the same time, a fixed distance from the current price. After a set interval it re-places the orders whenever they have drifted from the position calculated from the current price, so the distance is maintained. As a result, an order is only filled when the price moves sharply in a time shorter than the re-placement can keep up with. No orders are placed while the spread is above the limit (default 30 points).

Filled orders carry a stop loss and take profit (default 250 points each).

Counter-trend entries in 4-hour range markets

It checks each time a 4-hour bar closes. In a range market with a weak trend, when the previous close returns from outside the Bollinger Bands to the inside, it enters at market in the direction of the return (buy when it comes back from the lower band, sell when it comes back from the upper band). The stop loss is technical, and a position still open after 72 bars (12 days) is closed. This leg holds at most one position.

What you can change in the parameters

– Stop-order distance, stop loss / take profit, maximum allowed spread, trading hours (start / end)
– On/off, Bollinger Band period and width, ADX upper limit, stop loss / take profit (ATR multiples), maximum holding bars
– Lot method (fixed lot / auto lot) and its value, balance-proportional lot (default off)
– Max spread: new orders are skipped while the spread exceeds the specified pips (default 0 = off)
– Daily loss limit: when this EA's losses closed that day (server time) reach the specified amount, no new orders are placed for the rest of the day (default 0 = off)
– Floating-loss ratio: when the account's floating loss reaches the specified % of the balance, all of this EA's positions are closed and new orders stop (default 0 = off)
– Friday carry-over close: at the specified time on Friday, all of this EA's positions are closed and no new orders are placed that day (default off)

None of the management items are active by default. Even when enabled, they apply only to this EA's own orders (identified by its two magic numbers) and never touch other EAs or manual orders on the same account.

Notes on use

– The number of trades varies greatly with market volatility. In calm periods there may be months with almost no fills on leg 1.
– Up to 3 positions can be open at the same time.
– Because the stop orders are re-placed at regular intervals, there are many order modifications. Please be careful with accounts that limit the number of order modifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the EA right after purchase?
Yes. The EA file (.ex4/.ex5) becomes available for download from your account page immediately after payment completes.
Does it support MT4 or MT5?
Platform compatibility varies by product. Please check the "Supported Platform" field on each product page. Many EAs support both MT4 and MT5.
Can I try EAs on a demo account?
Most EAs do not support running on demo accounts. To help you decide before purchase, every EA's backtest results are shown in the "Backtest" tab and forward test performance in the "Performance" tab on each product page.
What is the recommended margin or lot size?
Recommended settings are listed for each EA in the "Product Details" section of its product page. Excessive lot sizing can cause catastrophic losses at maximum drawdown.
Can I change my licensed account?
After purchase, go to "Licensed Account Switch" on My Page and enter the MT4/MT5 account number you want to bind. The change applies immediately. You can change once per 24 hours.
Are refunds or returns available?
Due to the nature of digital products, we generally cannot refund or accept returns after the authentication code has been issued. However, if the EA itself has a critical defect that prevents operation and the fault lies with us, we will handle the case individually. Please contact us via the inquiry page.
Do backtest results match live performance?
Backtest results are theoretical values based on historical data, while forward tests reflect live environment performance. Systre publishes forward test data for every EA on its product page so you can verify live performance before purchase. Spread and execution delays typically cause some divergence between backtest and live results.

This data is based on a 0.01 lot size. Actual performance may vary depending on your lot size.
Entry Condition
Leg 1: between 2:00 and 23:00 server time, a buy-stop and a sell-stop are placed 90 points from price and repositioned every second to keep that distance (no orders while the spread exceeds 30 points). Leg 2: on the H4 chart, when ADX(14) is below 20 and the previous close has come back inside the Bollinger Band (20, 2σ) from outside, a market order is opened in the direction of the return.
Close Condition
Leg 1: stop loss and take profit are 250 points each; as profit grows the stop loss is raised in steps and the position is then closed by that raised stop. Leg 2: stop loss is 2x ATR(14), take profit 1.5x ATR, and the trade is closed after 72 H4 bars (12 days). Management options, if turned on, also close positions.
Favorable Market
Leg 1 suits sharp, fast moves; leg 2 suits trendless ranges where price swings back and forth.
Unfavorable Market
Quiet periods with few large moves (fewer leg 1 fills) and markets that break out of a range and run one way (more leg 2 stop-outs).
Avoid Trading Timing
Around Reserve Bank of Australia and Federal Reserve policy announcements and Australian and US employment and CPI releases, when fills can slip.
Recommended Operation
A medium-risk EA that spreads its trading chances across two legs of a different nature. Management options such as the daily loss limit, account floating-loss ratio and Friday close are off by default, so set them to suit your own policy.
