Golden Current

A gold-only EA that mainly buys to capture price range, like swimming up a calm ocean current. Sells work in tandem, and a brake guards against sudden moves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the EA right after purchase?
Yes. The EA file (.ex4/.ex5) becomes available for download from your account page immediately after payment completes.
Does it support MT4 or MT5?
Platform compatibility varies by product. Please check the "Supported Platform" field on each product page. Many EAs support both MT4 and MT5.
Can I try EAs on a demo account?
Most EAs do not support running on demo accounts. To help you decide before purchase, every EA's backtest results are shown in the "Backtest" tab and forward test performance in the "Performance" tab on each product page.
What is the recommended margin or lot size?
Recommended settings are listed for each EA in the "Product Details" section of its product page. Excessive lot sizing can cause catastrophic losses at maximum drawdown.
Can I change my licensed account?
After purchase, go to "Licensed Account Switch" on My Page and enter the MT4/MT5 account number you want to bind. The change applies immediately. You can change once per 24 hours.
Are refunds or returns available?
Due to the nature of digital products, we generally cannot refund or accept returns after the authentication code has been issued. However, if the EA itself has a critical defect that prevents operation and the fault lies with us, we will handle the case individually. Please contact us via the inquiry page.
Do backtest results match live performance?
Backtest results are theoretical values based on historical data, while forward tests reflect live environment performance. Systre publishes forward test data for every EA on its product page so you can verify live performance before purchase. Spread and execution delays typically cause some divergence between backtest and live results.

Expected Monthly Return: 2%

This data is based on a 0.01 lot size. Actual performance may vary depending on your lot size.
Entry Condition
Trades mainly long on the M5 chart of gold (XAUUSD/GOLD).
- First buy entry (0.01 lot) when the short-term RSI reaches an oversold level.
- Then averages down (adds buys) each time the price falls by a set distance. The lot size increases step by step as the number of steps grows (martingale type).
- Sells are entered cautiously, only when buys have piled up to a certain number of steps and the higher-timeframe RSI shows signs of a pause in the decline or a rebound (hedging is used).
- The maximum total number of positions (buy and sell combined) is 47.
- New orders are skipped in these cases: around economic releases (live trading only), for a set time after the brake is triggered, and when margin is insufficient.
Close Condition
- Buys and sells are each closed together per basket (all positions in the same direction) at a common exit line (weighted average entry price plus a set distance).
- For a deeply stacked basket, when the combined result of the most recent several steps is positive, those steps are partially closed together, one step is rebuilt, and the averaging interval is widened.
- No stop loss is set. Instead, there is a brake function: when the total floating loss reaches the equivalent of 12,000 USD per 0.01 lot (proportional to the lot size), all positions are closed at once. After the brake is triggered, new entries stop for a set time.
- The brake does not make losses zero.
Favorable Market
- Markets with a gentle rise or a continued range.
- Markets where a decline is repeatedly followed by a rebound of a certain size.
Unfavorable Market
- Markets with consecutive, prolonged declines. The period of holding floating losses can last several weeks (up to about 50 days in the backtest).
- Sharp moves in a short time. The brake closes everything and the loss is fixed.
- On accounts with large swap costs, the longer positions are held, the more cost accumulates.
Avoid Trading Timing
- Around important US economic releases (automatically paused in live trading only).
- A set time after the brake is triggered.
- Month-end and month-start pauses can be selected as an option (default OFF).
