- About SHIN GoToBi
This EA, SHIN GoToBi, utilizes the 50-day trade, a trading logic unique to the Japanese market. In the Japanese market, financial institutions set the benchmark rate for foreign exchange transactions at 9:55 AM every day. This rate is called the mid-point, and importers and other businesses often place buy orders for dollars around this time to raise funds for settlement, so the rate generally tends to rise. Therefore, profits can be achieved by taking a long USD/JPY position before 9:55 AM and a short USD/JPY position at 9:55 AM. This is called mid-point trading. This mid-point trend is particularly strong on "50th days" (Goto days), dates that are multiples of 5. Fifty-day trading is a trading method that allows you to aim for more solid profits by trading only on 50-day periods. While most 50-day EAs typically enter and close at the same time each time, this EA's logic is designed to take a long position between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the 50th when favorable timing (e.g., when a pullback occurs) is favorable, and to take a short position between 9:55 AM and 10:10 AM when favorable timing (e.g., when a retracement occurs). If it determines there is no favorable timing, it will not enter even on the 50th. By incorporating this unique logic into the 50-day trade, this EA has been improved to only take a position when there is a high probability of winning based on the current situation. This avoids unnecessary drawdowns and ensures steady profit growth. Backtesting based on the Tick Data Suite over a 15-year period from 2009 recorded a profit factor of 1.90 , demonstrating its highly stable logic.
